Formation of new police unit leads to future FACT/PIPCU collaborations

FACT welcomed the creation of the Police Intellectual Property Crime unit aimed at targeting intellectual property crime. The unit was dedicated to tackling online piracy and other forms of intellectual property crime such as counterfeit goods. It was the first unit of its kind in the world, ensuring that the UK stayed at the forefront of intellectual property enforcement.
